After reading your other posts, then seeing this, It might be that the bar is not properly shaped...hence the reason its hard to close your hood.

No issues with fitting. The trick is loosening the bolts, closing the hood which

lets the brace settle in location and then tighten the bolts. Great German

product at half the Strong Strut price plus its shiny :2:


However I will have to return the product in exchange for the ALUTEC Strut bar since I am installing KONI adjustables. The knob on the shock will

interfere and prevent installation of the WEICHERS strut bar.

Hinged?

From the picture it appears like the bar is hinged at the shock tower. Is that true?
