I have checked out the Corvette forum and it is packed with kill stories. The supra forum have people that have killed everything supposedly, 300zx's, vr4's, C5's, rx-7's, even motorcycles !! and M5's! even the z06's ?!! What's going on here? our kill section is reallllll hush hush. Is it cuz we are road kill ? (jk). I personally dont put any on cuz i dont see anybody else putting them on, but these guys even have clips of them beating other cars!! I gotta say its alot of fun to see these sights, and read their stories. I would love to hear your guys road kills, or even getting killed, it will happen now and then. Anyway, I know it isnt cuz we are old and over the hill...... right ?????

I post a few here rather than in the roadkill section, because it is so quiet over there. Add a Durango R/T 5.9 to the list of New England road kill ;-) It sounded like a powerful beast though.

Ive had a Honda CBR 900 ON I95 in NYC I was going 55 and this guy pulled up next to me with a passenger.th pops a wheelie and gives me a thumbs up.SO I point down the road he gives me a nod i drop it into 3rd.now in thinking theres no way im gonna beat him cause i ride a ducati 748.My bike is pheny fast and a 900 is cuposed to be faster.so we go and i cant belive this im pulling away from this guy so i slow down I wanna give this guy a fair chance .We reset,on a count of 3 im thinking he wasnt in the right gear or somthing.nope he had no chance i just kept pulling i was loving it.

I've never post any road kill cuz almosts never had any in the M5 ( killed a stock WS6 once)....I think its cuz not alot of ppl know its a M5 (I had my badge removed)...Till I do some mods to the M5...

Different story with my '94 Supra TT, I think cuz it looks meaner or racier with bodykit, wheels and other mods, so it gets more attention and hence more ppl want to mess around...

PS: Its pretty hard to believe you can kill a bike with M5...but ....its cool to know u can.....

I have to wait until my car arrives (due in December). I could add a couple of M3 road kill stories...

BTW, I've only recently joined this forum and really appreciate all the great insights. I'm soooo looking forward to my M5 my mouth is watering!

Fais2000, how old are you again? Please write because instead of "cuz". I know it is more typing but many visitors to his board speak English as a second or third language and it is difficult enough already.

I killed a 325 or 328 with a body kit the other day. I had six cars on him by second gear. However, I think his girlfriend got mad at him.

Kkelly,
Thank you, I stand corrected. I was using "cuz" 'because' I was trying to post quick, not 'because' I am 27; and partly 'because' it has become part of my internet venacular. Sorry if anybody misconstrued my remarks.

To further clarify for those who are not fluent with American lingo, oops sorry, i mean American 'linguistics', the term "kill", as kkelly has used it stands for being victorious when two cars come together in the joyous activity of racing on the road. Hence the term "road kill". Please do not think he has "killed" a 328 BMW and contact the authorities, or call city sanitation to pick up debris from the road; 'because' I am sure he is a not a serial killer, but a very nice fellow.

So refreshing Vas. I know how the internet can cause loss of grammatical skills. I just don't want someone to think you drive a lowered Civic with your peeps.

I think you guys may not get races because they know your cars are fast. I don't think the new M5 is a "sleeper".

The only real car I have gotten to race me was TRans Am (98 or 99 or 2000?). That was a drag race and I won. Had some kids in the car. We waved at each other as I turned off. Other than that, I cannot get anyone to race.

In my M3, I had a lot of races: Vettes, Supras, Mustangs, RX7's, Merecedes etc. The cool thing was the car was supercharged, so I surprised quite a few people.

Go figure.

Okay, my M5 won't be in for a couple of months more so here's a win and a loss from my last hot car, a '91 300ZX turbo. K&N, chip, exhaust. Probably made 400 hp.
I used to get challenged by Moostang GT's all the time, but one I enjoyed the most was coming home from work one day following a GT convertible at 70-80 mph for many miles on 287 east. (road details provided for those that know the Westchester, NY area and can relate). The GT had dealer plates. We both had come from Rockland County and since the owner of a Ford Dealer in Rockland lives in my home town, I think I was following the owner of the dealer. Anyway, we both get on 684 North, I'm about three car lengths back and we are at 60 mph. I see that telltale puff of smoke from his pipes so I know he's pegged it, but I had been waiting in third gear with the turbos spooled. Stood on it and went around him like he was standing still. Absolutely humiliated him. Nothing less.
Another time, late at night , coming off the TZ Bridge into Rockland Co. on 87 North (I'll call it "the 87" to make you Calif. guys feel at home). I had caught up with a nice bike at about 70-80 mph. I don't know bikes that well, so I couldn't tell you what it was, but... He gives me the nod and off we go. Over the years with lots of kills I had grown overconfident - I didn't even downshift from 5th. Just nailed it. Off we go together, pretty much neck in neck right up to about 110, maybe. I'm thinking "wow, this Z is awesome, bikes aren't all they're cracked up to be." Then all of a sudden this guy downshifts, I hear the engine scream and he takes off like a bullet. I mean a freakin' bullet. I swear to you that my jaw dropped open. Never saw anything like it. One big slice of Humble Pie. That's what I ate that night. Loved that Z, though.

Well last week I pulled along side a new model BMW motorcycle. I don't know what model but it was one of those "cafe racer" looking ones with low handlebars and a mini fairing(not the old style boxer twin). Anyway, he looked over at meand gave me a nod and we both punched it. I pulled away from him to about 4 car lenghts and we got up to aout 125mph before we both had to slow for traffic. At the stop light , he lifted up his shield and commented about how he had heard the M5 was fast but had no idea they were that fast. One more bites the dust !
