Hartge makes the most attractive ones, IMO; not too over the top like most.

I read somewhere that the hartge front splitter will not fit on 08's due to the front bumper being different....

I actually remember someone calling and confirming that the Hartge pieces do fit the 08s. You can check with www.GGITuning.com. They are the Hartge distributor. I have them on my car and the pics are here: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=115568

Other companies that make splitters and diffusers are:

Hamann
AC Schnitzer
RDSport (http://65.36.231.74/Localized/NorthAmerica/Series/M/M5_E60/RD_NA_M5_E60_Aero/RD_NA_M5_E60_Aero.htm)
Lumma (http://www.lumma-design.com/ENGLISH/bmw_e60clr5m.html)

I can attest against that. I have one and it fits fine. It did take some work from the body shop to get it to fit, though...

RD sport. I have seen Hartge and ACS and others and I think RD sport makes one that is "most complete" add on. Their rear spoiler and diffuser are nice as well.

The one that mounts on top of the rear window is the roof spoiler. The diffuser is the piece that goes at the bottom of the rear bumper between the exhaust outlets.

I really like the Hartge pieces but since most of my mods are from RDSport, I might switch to the RDSport splitter and diffuser. Just wish I can see someone with those pieces on or some good pics.

You're awesome Ed! Thanks man.

So what do you guys think? I think the diffuser looks pretty aggressive but I'm on the fence on the front splitter.

Diffuser - Yes

Front splitter - Not so much

The Hartge front splitter is much nicer.
