The steering wheel was especially interesting. Check out the - and +:
That's how you shift gears in "manual" mode. There's no lever, but rather a small "blister" on the back of the wheel. It feels like a 2mm deep tensioned metal bubble. It's interesting that seems so delicate. Works well though.
