Just noticed today in a multi storey car park that my engine whines with the revs, this is the same in neutral or driving, it's not horrendous by any means but there. Is this a normal feature for the M5?

Car has covered 56k.

I don't have that sound. Maybe you could start by checking your belts.

Ok 1st trip to dealers coming up.

Agreed, belts are a good start. Power steering fluid level is another easy check that leads to odd noises. Also ask for a vacuum system test in ISTA to make sure there are no leaks.

Well the car dealer I purchased the car from has had the car for 2x days and had a specialist look at the car and claims its normal. Can anyone actually tell me if this is actually the case???? Before I really start kicking off.

Any idea if this can be done with the BMtech software?
