i also have the bimmernav kit on my 00. Fully functional, voice recognition, display on the nav screen and mid.

Where to buy bluetooth kit for 03 M5?
I called my dealer and the parts guy said they don't carry one for that model and year.

does the bluetooth kit for 03 M5 include voice support for the NAV as well or do you need a separate module?

Thanks for your reply. Now that is interesting as the Service Mgr at BH BMW tells me NO WAY (just the other day)..there's no quaranty it will work...and they installed it? Who is your SA? Thanks. I seem to be living in the bizzaro world at my dealer. Yes they have some of the proverbial black boxes to install but do not guaranty it will work, is my issue. Thats is why I very curious if they did the install. i can't see to get the energy or nerve/patience to do this and want them on the hook if it does not work. One day when I am back in the East Bay I will PM you to see your set-up. You should try another dealer. i have a friend with an 03 who had east bay bmw do the install. It was a total non-issue. He said he wanted bluetooth, they ordered the kit, they installed it. I'd be happy to help out with the install when you're up here. It's plug and play. Mine was the prototype kit from bimmernav, and even that was pretty easy to get working.dmccrary90025 said:Thanks. My SA is Gerg Stegemann ... He's the ONLY German SA at the deralership and has been there since before they were Zipper BMW and Otto Zipper VW before that!dmccrary90025 said:Thanks for your reply. Call Gerd and tell him that the Predator M5 owner suggested he talk to you. Gerd can look up on my service history as to Which technician did the Bluetooth installation. I believe it was Andy ... who is now the Asst Service Manager under Shawn. Shawn has just recently (sometime in the past 2 months) taken over the Service Manager's position.
