During braking at low speed I've had some pulsation. A good fella from Turnermotorsport suggested it was most likely coming from rear. I bought and replaced rear rotors and pads, and to my surprise - this is how the pads looked like! Half of lining was missing. Never saw such thing so I though it's worth sharing with you guys.
Cheers

Wow. I've never seen a failure like that, but I'm no expert. It's a good thing you changed them out. Those look like a disaster waiting to happen!

I had something similar happen, where the whole brake pad lining popped of the brake pad metal plate, but was stuck in the caliper so the brakes somehow still worked.
Scary.

Seems like this is from water / excessive moisture that also brings in some rust. Maybe the moisture/rust part along with crack/damage that let water get deeper in between brake lining and metal pad.
