I just noticed... the 167 rims are "much" more expensive than the 166 rims...
Yes, the style 167 ones are forged instead of cast and polished.

Also the M5 uses a different rear wheel from the M6 (offset is different), so they wont make as many M5 sixe Style 167, pushing the price per unit up

Hi all,
I got the BMW Official catalogue for my M5 E60:

- Model 184M
- Tyres: Continental TS 810 245/45-18 100V
- Tyres: Michelin Pilot Alpin 2 245/45-18 100V

Price in Swiss Francs: 910.-/wheel

Regards from Ticino/switzerland

Could be the size is just not yet available in the U.S.? Tire manufacturers don't always introduce products in all markets at the same time.

As a recent example, Toyo did not bring their new T-1R to the U.S. for quite some time following their introductions in Europe and Asia.

Just a thought...
