i run the on 40 for rear tyres and 38 for the front tyres.Regarding performance,is it better to have higher pressure or lower for both acceleration and high speed..?
I started running 35 rear, 37 front cold now. For drag racing, run low pressures on the rear tires. For high speed, you need higher pressures. Here in the USA, I just run close to spec settings since I never sustain anything higher than 100mph for too long.
I was running 38 all around but I seem to be getting wear in the centre of the thread only i.e. overinflated. I think I'm going down to 36 all around for now.
Don't you love it when these old threads come to life again?!
I had been running 38 front and 36 rear, but recently dropped it to 36 front and 34 rear. The tires are 20" PS2's. I made the change based on the all-around feel of the car and not tire wear.
I ran 40 all around.
Seems fine except when you drive around the city all the bumps become more visible.
