Dealing with the aftermath of another's tire tread shrapnel on the highway at 80mph (separate story) and having trouble puzzling out what this part behind the bumper does. It has a hose running from it and an electrical connector. I figure someone on this forum would know it within 5 seconds. Anyone? ;-)

Thanks for the quick identification and part number link. Luckily covered by insurance if I do need to replace it. No error codes so far.
