Hi chaps,

1990 3.6ltr, 3-wire sensor screwed into top right-hand side of the radiator. What is it, what does it do? Anyone know?

Real OEM lists as `double temp switch`???????

Thanks.

I believe it is a 2 stage switch for the electric cooling fan (the fan is also used for cooling the condenser whenever the aircon is running).

You are Correct. It turns the Aux fan on when the car starts to hit 3/4 on the temp gauge.

3/4 ??????

I've never seen my temp gauge get past half way, and if it went any further I'd have a heart attack!
