Hi, first posting here so please be gentle :) just bought a 2002 M5 with 82k miles in bluewater metallic. Cosmetically it needs a very good clean and spruce up but mechanically all seems in order except for a leaky diff. I'm going to book in to get the diff looked at and I believe the exhaust needs removing to make the input shaft seal replacement easier to do. S other than the centre propshaft bearing, is there any other things I should be looking at getting changed whilst the exhaust is off the car?

Thanks,
Kieron.

Check out the Giubo (Guibo) and differential bushings, they're near impossible to tackle with the exhaust on the car.

Welcome

There're plenty of other tinkerings you can do while you're in there, depending on the state of your car and/or your obsessiveness, e.g.

Clutch and flywheel
Slave cylinder
Rear main seal
Guibo

I'm sure there're plenty more suggestions revealed on a search ;)
