WHO WE ARE
An exclusive group of BMW ///M enthusiasts.

OUR VISION
To become the #1 ///M enthusiast group in the US.

OUR MISSION
To offer members a variety of unique brand-related opportunities – both social and educational – aiming at (1) promoting awareness of the brand, (2) promoting the development of safer driving skills through training, (3) improving technical knowledge through the facilitation of educational sessions, and (4) strengthening the camaraderie among the members through events and social media

Founded in TX on 12.12.2015 our growth started early and soon included members outside of TX and also outside of US. Today we are several hundred members in 16 US states and 6 countries, and have already built a recognizable name in the BMW enthusiast world, as well as achieved strong partnerships with BMW dealerships and other related businesses in major metro areas.
Our growth has just started!

We encourage every ///M owner to join us, even if not in TX. If you are a true ///M enthusiast, this is your ho///Me!
There is no cost to become a member of the Gruppe. We believe you pay for your membership when you buy your ///M. Our passion for these cars is what keeps us as a tight and selective enthusiast community.

Our biggest pride and most important partner however is our very engaged and passionate membership, composed exclusively of BMW ///M owners (we also allow Alpinas due to the historical connection with BMW Motorsport).

Created by ///M owners for ///M owners, we live and actively share the passion for these cars every day and look forward to welcoming you to the Gruppe family!

Tried to look around your web site. Mostly, I was denied. I did read your rules. WOW. A bit pretentious. Almost sounds fun, but mostly sounds like the worst parts of bmwcca. (Not a member there either.) It does sound like a great way for dealers to connect/market M drivers though.

I wrench. I drive. I have fun, whether its an M5, an eta, a Geo Tracker, or a Z28. Would I really be asked to leave if I mentioned one of my other cars?

I really hope I took all of this the wrong way and wish your gruppe much success.

Hey djazz. Nothing pretentious about it, but we do wanna keep it ///M only, otherwise it is just like another BMW group out there. For any car club to work there gotta be some rules, fact of life I'm afraid. We are over 400 ///M enthusiasts now, we do drives, track events, performance training. We charge no fee whatsoever and offer a lot of benefits, so asking that interested folks register is pretty fair. You're welcome the day you think you'd like to join us.

I thought about getting involved early on due to all the drives here in Texas but I don't do Face Book so the connection was lacking. And it's not the registering so much as hiding behind closed doors. The locked door motif is even designed into your website.

I can't imagine talking about only one type of car and I've never been much for rules I didn't agree with. Just ask Roachfly how MyE28 was started.

Anyway, by word of mouth, I know y'all do good work so I wish you all the best. Just remember, if a service is free...

I hear ya. :) Yeah it doesn't sound like the M Gruppe is a right fit for you or vice versa for that matter. Happy motoring!

Hill Country weekend

Hello All,

The M Gruppe is having its annual Hill Country Extravaganza Weekend from this Friday 9/29, based in Fredericksburg and will include a full day of driving through some of the best roads in TX, visit to state park for a picnic lunch on Saturday, German dinner, brunch and more driving! Not to mention some very cool ///M folks. Only M-Gruppe members can participate, so please register to become a member. Membership is free (you already paid it when you bought your ///M!)

--------------------------------------------------------

At M Gruppe (http://www.mgruppe.org), we do C&Cs, happy hours, drive events, HPDEs etc. We get corporate discounts, and partner with dealerships to ensure we only get M Techs, plus discounts on service (maintenance, upgrades, repairs).

Founded in Houston, TX on 12.12.2015 our growth started early and soon included members outside of TX and also outside of US. Today we are almost 800 members in 32 US states and 10 countries to date. We have already built a recognizable name in the BMW enthusiast world, as well as achieved strong partnerships with BMW in the US and Germany.

We encourage every ///M owner to join us. If you are a true ///M enthusiast, this is your ho///Me!

I am not on the FB group yet, but will likely join it in the near future. I am a brand new M5 owner (but a long-time fan and student) and happened to find this thread whilst exploring M5Board (see my post "Bought my Dream Car" on the M5Board new members' forum for a little background on my ownership experience thus far). This is all rather sudden, but if I can swing it, I also look forward to meeting some like-minded drivers this weekend!
