I noticed the leakage after i had washed the car first time after buying it. Then my father put it a stop with a chewing gum on the drill hole. So there is no leakage left after by this temprorary solution. The matter is why it did happen? Is there a pipe under that hole?

I had the exact same leaking issue and it happened to be one of the tail light seals not being on correctly.

Not sure which drill hole you're talking about but most water leak problems are solved by replacing the taillight seals. They're prone to let water through after a while
