What creative ideas have you come up with towards a more permanent repair of the brittle washer tube filler hose? I am thinking of cutting a section and using rubber hose so as to be more resistant to manifold temps. Post your fixes.

Some Flex Seal tape to fix it and then header (heat resisitant) tape to prevent reoccurrence?

doesn't make sense to me to replace when this is been leaking for 5 or more years. Plus I have supersprint headers to install, so potentially more heat in that area.

First time I’ve ever seen one of those like that, buy a new one - there’s lots of more important brittle plastic to worry about!

Ive just replaced all of mine with some silicone hose. My hose was so brittle it would crack just moving it slightly.
