I have some fairly tough requirements:

1) I am not interested in an 00 or an 01 (financing limitation)
2) Maximum price for an 02 = $49,000
3) Maximum price for an 03 = $53,000

Thx, Steve

I could probably go a little higher for the right car:

1) Maximum price for an 02 = $51k
2) Maximum price for an 03 = $53k

Thx, Steve

Omar, yours sounds like a very nice car! However, I have located an original owner 03 with 14k miles that I will be flying to pickup on May 27th. PS - i did end up paying a bit more than my budget. Thx, Steve

If a radar detector is in your future, might I suggest buying the V1 before you leave? Just peace of mind for the drive home. Literally takes 60 seconds to stick it on- you can do a full install later.

Oh, give them a call and ask if there are any 'remanufactured units' in stock- save 10% and they are perfectly new.

Semi-congrats,

A

When you fly out there you're going to get a PPI (pre purchase inspection) right?

I've seen many M5's that looked immaculate, only to have hidden damage.

The car is pre-wired (conveniently) for an Escort radar detector, which I already own! So, I will throw it in my suitcase and hook it up.

Thanks! Steve

PS - counting down the days - now just 7 left.
