My car was built March 10. Is 60 days long enough for the paint to "set" before waxing the crap out of it?

I keep scraping bugs off my hood and mirrors and would feel better if a nice, thick coat of Meguiar's was on the finish.

MWM: my dealer put a coat of "Resistall" on the car when it came in. It is a "teflon" coating that is supposed to protect the finish for up to a year. Personally I would go with ZYMOL. It's non-invasive and is formulated to work with the German paints. They put cosmoline (sp?) on the cars coming over from Europe, so I can't imagine a very good grade of wax will do any harm. Just don't "cut" into the clear coat.
