Hi Everyone, I have an interesting question that I cannot find an answer for. I bought a first generation RMS supercharger kit, I got everything except for the blower head unit. I was thinking that I would like to use the V3si since it is self contained and I wouldn't need to run any oil feed or return lines. I was told by the RMS rep that I could not use a V3si. Out of curiousity I called vortech, they said that the mounting, size, everything about the V3si is the same as a V2si, so why couldn't I use the V3?

It's good to know that some things never change.

I would go by what Vortech says, there is no good reason that you couldn't use the V3.

I think that is correct, but triple check it before you order anything.

What led you to buying the RMS kit?

I got all of the parts for a super cheap price from a friend. I figured I couldn't pass it up so I grabbed them and stashed them away for later use. Now, I am thinking about getting it all put together. I don't plan on going back to RMS for much of anything else. Thanks again for the help Rao.
