VANOS Solenoid Repair Service?

Hi all, had some VANOS codes that led me to pulling the Solenoids. I've cleaned everything and replaced O-rings, but upon testing, one of the Solenoids is missing a diode and not actuating when powered up.

I am our of my depth at this point, and any attempt on my part to repair/ solder will just make a mess and not fix anything.

Are there any services that repair the boards/ solenoid wiring?

Cheers.

UPDATE: We think the solenoid itself may be bad, added new diodes and soldered correctly, and it won;t activate and creates a bunch of resistance.

I don't see diode replacement on their website but it's worth asking Partee Racing.

I should have some spare diodes (lots of 1N6484, maybe some RGF1M) if you/Partee wants them.

the mini pcb that connects the solenoid pins (if they didnt break/corrode) to the wire might be the issue. its a little tricky to extend the wires and solder it to the pins directly but doable. i would order a new pcb board and have a computer/electronics guy transfer the guts over and solder directly to the pins.

I just went through this and had a new board and 2 known, good solenoids. Every issue went away and VANOS tests pass 100% now. He also has new grommets if needed as those deteriorate over time as well.
