Good day gang;

What's the consensus on valve adjustment intervals.
Scanned the archives however, I can't seem to garner when it's required. Inspection II perhaps?

For those who've had it performed, I'd be interested in what mileage it was done at & how out of spec you were as I'm @ 32K on the 00 & the prior owner had no knowledge of any such required service.

Thanks! :byee55amg

No valve adjustment is needed or possible, due to the S62's use of hydraulic followers.

Love the way the light plays off the paint. Leaves look fantasic against the paint color. Great shoot indeed,
As others have said, since the S62 gas hydralic lifters there is no need to worry now. So sorry for any typos, I am cherrsagai now...hehehe
:cheers:

Beautiful photo!

As fellow members already stated valve adjustment is not needed / possible, unless your car shows symptoms of a clogged hydraulic lifter (loud ticking noise which can be localized with a sthetoscope to one of the lifters). A clogged lifter can be replaced, but it is expensive, and usually it will clear itself over time.
