there is something intresting the v16,, also the rolls royce 100EX
it is still only a concept vehicle

media people have been saying the convertible rolls will be built
but it will use the same V12 as the phantom
it makes alot more bussiness sense.

i think it was cadillac who also showed a V16 concept car called the 16, but that was a year ago and i havn't heard anyting of it since

Veyron has W16
W-config engines are a joke. I remember reading somehwere, something about having to remove the entire W12 engine from a Phaeton, just to change the oil!

V16 must sound nuts at WOT, and it would be interesting to see this make it into production.
Remove the engine to change the oil in the Phaeton? Doesnt seem reasonable at all, but stranger things have happened.

they had V16 on airplanes before, and for the record W configuration is nothing new, WWII Sherman tank also used W configuration based on "bunch" V6 (as I don't remember how many of them, and they kept change the engine during the war anyway).
