I dont think that's how they're gonna look. I think they should have a sidewall, or else a whole bunch of crap can get in there and mess up the balancing.

Also I think they would only be made to a certain tire wall width like 65 not for our cars which are much thinner.

I saw these in an email I got about 2 years ago. Pretty interesting tire. They are made by Michelin supposedly and they did quite a bit of tests. They said the upside to this tire was you would never bend a rim and never get a flat. It's amazing how they showed that material inside the tire absorb bumps, blocks of wood, and just pass over spike strips with ease.

It looks similar, but this is what came up when I did a pax system search

its known as the michelin concept "tweel." the tweel consists of both the tire and the wheel hub combined and the examples ive seen do not have a sidewall, at least not yet. perhaps in production.
