Great pics Becks. The M5 looks ready for hunt like a predator in the first pic and the HUD unit looks very sleek from that angle.

Thanks for the pictures. Very cool. I wonder what the material covering the HUD is- glass? Plastic? recommended cleaning procedures?

Good point. You have to wonder if it will become the proverbial dust collector?

it definately looks like it will collect alot of dust.

I wonder if the rumored delay with the tach and shift light are accurate? It is hard for me to believe it considering M is behind it... but you never know. If there is a delay, its usefulness as more than a gimmick will be drastically reduced.

Yes, it is important to note that HUD is completely inappropriate technology for those driving through coal mines with their windows open.

It'll collect much dust and being close to the windscreen, difficult to clean. It'll collect other junk too ... parking meter tickets ...
