I think you are in the wrong section. You have an e36?
I believe M52 is 6 cylinder E39. M54 is the V8 in the 540i. And of course the S62 is the M5 motor.

That would be M62
In bmw engine naming logic first numbers mean 4 for 4 pot, 5 for 6 cyl, 6 for 8, 7 for 12 and 8 for 10.

As far as OPs question goes. I don't think many people turbo these so most kits you'll find will be for 3 series. But I would imagie 5 series to have a wider engine bay so could fit al the same.

I apologize. For some reason, I thought the M52 was an e36 only engine.
None the less your position was still correct, wrong forum. M52 is a 52Xi car not an M5.Not that M5 people don't chase performance in most cars. There might be someone here that has some info, but more than likely the best info will come in E36 forums.

Hi all. I'am looking to turbocharge my m52 e39, collecting some stuff right now, the thing im missing is the exhaust manifold, i want something that is 100% P&P without cutting anything in the chassis and changing the engine mounts, anyone have done this before? Thanks.
Probably best to ask in the E39 section of bimmerforums:
