I swore I was not going to do this prior to receiving my M5, but after one day of track time I want some more. The car is a blast on the track. The stock tires take too big a beating on track use so I am looking at getting a set of rims and tires for track days. I had a similar arrangment on my M3. What I would like to do is use the same size tire at all 4 corners of the car. This will help remove some of the understeer. This means either 9" or 9.5" rims. I plan to stick with 18", but will consider 19". Does anyone know what the limitations are on the front of the car with respect to tire size? I would like to have 275 at all 4 corners. My suspension will remain stock with respect to shocks and springs. On my M3 the limitation was actually at the rear of the car, especially after lowering. Right now it appears Hoosier is the only true track tire available, which is fine. I plan to call TireRack next week, their website is inconclusive. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff L
