Hi there all

Well i finally got the black car back from the sprayers last week, so this weekend thought it would be a good time to give both the cars a good wax and polish and take a few photos whilst the weather was good.

The Black M5 is a 1993 model, with 145k, Calypso red is a 1993 with 130k, its the first time the red ones been out of hibernation since september last year.

Please let us know what you think

Cheers Andy

Hi there all, thanks for the kind comments, glad you like

Steve, they will both be coming down to the upcoming Goat meet, our James will be bringing one of them down for me.

Hi Richard, I'm very happy with the paint job thanks, my sprayer did a very good job with the paintwork. Old bombers got HID's but i still get the OBC message, there is a resistor mod out there somewhere, that i've been meaning to do for ages but havnt had chance.

Ha ha, youve noticed the wheels, James was first to mention it when i swapped the wider rears on a few months ago.

Catch up with you soon mate

Hi there

Thanks for the kind comments, glad you like, Its hard to believe MBA was bought on a ebay whim as a track car, its far too good for that now!!

David, i will try my best to get them swapped over before me and james come down next weekend, were really looking forward to the trip down, were booked into the Mill Hill hotel in Sudbury for friday and saturday evening, god knows what its like :)

Kevin, we are going to try and get over to you one night this next week for a pint and to say hello, the exhaust on the red one is a straight through from the cats back, the only silencer it has (hasnt!!!!) is two tiny conical cherry bombs which are about 10" long each, its a bit noisy, the black ones just the standard BMW item.

David L, these were the mirrors the car came with, i think they are the correct ones for the late model year, the sport mirrors on the calpso car are genuine LHD E34 touring mirrors, i bought them from Gaydon BMW show a few years ago for £200.

Best regards AndyH
