After an horrid accident with a drunk driver last November, I lost my beloved '95 Oxford Green E34 ///M and from then on I was searching relentlessly for a new ///M.

I was close to finding another E34 ///M but decided I needed an update. After months of research and taking advice from fellow board members, I pulled the trigger on a beast I found in Chicago. After a solid PPI, I flew up to Chi-town for a final test drive, payment and shipment of the ol' girl back to H-town. And now she's here! Been driving her for a week now and goodness I feel like a changed man. Cue Aerosmith! ~"I'M BACK! I'm back in the saddle again..."~

All thanks to you guys! I couldn't have done it without the coolest board members in the world! :biggrinbounce:

Fooling around with the phone camera:

FYI- I parted her out after she was totaled. I will be posting a thread with parts and pictures but until then holler if you're interested!

Thanks for looking! :byee55amg :M5launch:

Very clean example of a Beast. You got the fastest color FYI.

Any mods planned?

Welcome back!

Thanks man! Mods are mos def planned but for now I'm going to take the wisdom given by some experienced owners and just keep my ///M fund for maintenance even though I love DIY.

Mods that stick out in my head definitely include Timmay's Muffler Delete and the new and improved Shark Injector tuned for Mboard members. Maybe later down the not too distant future- I hope- add Van Manen or SuperSprint Headers...

Joey! The E34 was a stunner and she will be deeply missed but damn, I've already fallen for your new girlfriend ;) I love how she gets bashful and turns white when the sun caresses her skin

My new lens comes in Monday, so some proper portraits are in order

Haha that's funny. Yeah there were a lot of M5's in Houston but none were in as good condition or had mileage below 70K like this one.

the car I picked up had 80k on it witch didn't bother me as it was the color and options I wanted. the only thing it needs are tires and brakes soon.

You should also check out Powerchip. Very happy with the results (I have the Timmay Tips as well).

Stealth Bulbs for the turn signals (front, Rear) & black out that grill to make her look mean! :)

Congrats on the car. I have the same color/interior combination & love it. If you plan on tracking the car, you might want to consider another suspension. One of the best mods I put on the car.

Take advantage of price matching on the internet auto parts sites when looking for an expensive upgrade. If you search long & hard enough you will find a misprinted price somewhere. The misprinted site will usually not honor the price, but one of the others will usually match.

Congrats again! :)

BTW. I also purchased mine from the original owner in Chicago. It was extremely clean with 45k miles on it when I purchased it last year. He only drove it during the summer. Had it shipped to GA. Best freakin car I've ever owned. I'm hoping to get a new exhaust system put in next week. Can't wait :)

Thanks for the kind words. Now to take care of the essentials; V1 hardwire and intravee ii. Damn why the hell is intravee out of stock everywhere?!

Glad to hear you finally found the perfect car, she's beautiful. V1 is a must.. have you thought about Laser Interceptors? Rears up front?

That dealership has even nicer cars; they were selling a ferarri 458 when I went there. An M5 is considered low on their totem pole hehe.

Thanks. I dunno. I don't always drive like a speed demon; the laser interceptor might be overkill.
