Man, that's something scary!

Good post..........I remember many years ago hooking up an early No2 kit on a friend's 66 Chevy II Nova drag car with a modified small block. It backfired as he hit the button and blew a nice big flame ball out the tunnel ram hood scoop. He had the line locks on and it bubbled the paint on the hood and roof before it was over. So much for the new pearl white paint job.

He thought he was a goner. Last time we did something like that at midnight after drinking all those beers.

When stupid people like this don't put bottle heater stats on their bottles well what do you expect....gives nitrous a bad name.

Nitrous is very safe when applied properly!

Wow, that's quite a set of pictures. Just like anything with a lot of energy, it needs to be stored and used correctly. Hopefully he learned a lesson.
N02 can be fun, but I would only use it on rental cars or cars I hate. I've seen too many problems arise from people bolting a kit on and then seeing the aftermath of the engine.
