My beast has been riding on the Kumhos that were on her since I took delivery last spring. Since then I've had bent wheels straightened, but continued to experience aggravating steering wheel shake at a variety of speeds and conditions, and strong pulls (to either direction) under heavy braking.

This weekend I put PS2s on new wheels on the car, and all of my troubles went away. Smooth, quiet, and sticky.

Perhaps the tires wore while the wheels were bent, and were never quite right after straightening?

I now understand what all the fuss is about!

I too have experienced tires that are near the end of there life giving me small vibrations. The rear tires are the ones that can really effect the feel in the body of the car while the front ones transmit through the steering.
