Thats good to hear honestly! I am not one to be faint hearted about how these cars are used; like you said they are meant for driving and transporting.
Please PM me with anything about the car you dig up; I am always curious to hear more about my machines history.
The car is remarkably solid and original still, but is definitely a well used "driver" car; I think should clean up rather well.

Long time lurker here, finally decided to get me one of those sweet touring M5s.

A suspiciously cheap option has come up for sale in Sweden, last VIN digits are BL01550. 93' Grey metallic

From what I can see car color matches the factory record, and it seems that the car wasn't crashed. Good start, but maybe there's more to it. I tried googling/searching for this VIN on the forums but nothing's coming up.

@M5touring reg Maybe you know someone knowledgable around Stockholm who can diagnose the car, for compensation, obviously. It is being sold in Bromma

Congratulations to your decision. How come you seem to
believe that the BL01550 car is a cheap option/alternative ? When in fact most of the other cars presently being
offered - and in many cases for quite a long period of time -
are in fact heavily overpriced.
Also BL01550 was first time (2018-05-22) offered by the
dealer for EUR 32.800. Since then the asking price was
reduced in three steps to the present EUR 22.900.
Surprisingly it seems that nobody is buying anyway ?

BL01550 is a 1993, 5 speed, model year car.
Prod.date: 05.04.1993, EZ 17.09.1994 (!).
It is a Belgium export car, imported to Sweden 22.06.2000.
It has a non-factory, model year 1995, wide kidney front.
colour: Granitsilber-met. (237 M) -
interior: Leather, black (0318)
mileage: 302.284 km (08/2017)

If indeed you are still interested, then we should continue to communicate by PM and/or by e-mail and yes, I believe
to have someone in the Stockholm area
who would be prepared to do a ,pre-purchase-inspection’
for you. He is himself an E34 M5touring owner.

Subject: Stolen E34 M5 Touring
Hello
I’ve just received a heads up for a stolen BMW E34 M5 Touring with this
VIN# WBSHJ91040BL01208
I don’t know if you can put out a notice on your forum or something.
It’s been stolen from Norway.
Greetings
