I was utterly horrified to hear about the above story...I feel for the owner and such a shameful waste of an M5 Touring.

I have just had my M5 Touring (1872) freshened up too.

Partial re-paint, refurbished EDC and full service including shims.

Just ticked over 200,000 miles and looks and drives as good as ever.

any chance to let me know (PM) what the VIN (last 3 figures will do!)
of that Elekta in Italy is ?:smile I promise I will not purchase it, it is
for the 'registry' only and held in confidence upon request !!:|
in return I can tell you where some of the others are...with one
best known in the US 'over there'....

I’ll not get it for Christmas, there are still some interior bits to sort out. I’m going to inspect it on Wednesday and see exactly what needs doing. I think the front seats could do with new covers and base pads, maybe backs too, which I think are still available from BMW.
