carbon black -- I've also got a silver 540i/6 and there is no question that the carbon black is better looking ... as long as it's clean !!

That's a great photo. Is that your car, and is it LMB?

Andre's Carbon Black beast was beautiful and interesting. The color seemed to change depending upon the light and the viewing angle.

But I'm rather partial to LMB/LMB myself lovelove

DAKAR YELLOW

JOKE :1:

I like that Velvet blue, but i love the estoril too!!

My favourite now i own it is Imola, coz in the UK they're like rocking horse poo :hihi:

If you live in N.CA silver is the required color. If in S.CA, black or carbon black or lemans blue seem the colors of choice. I personally like Imola Red , but then again I am a wee bit biased at this time. I did own a carbon black 2000 M5, but you have to really like to wash your car a lot!

I was about to say Sterling Grey, but Atomic80's picture is making me reconsider.

Yep, thats her. An 11/99 built Avus Blue Metallic with Silverstone and titanium trim. I was a little rushed for the shot or I would have lowered the headrest and raised the windows for a cleaner look.

LeMans Blue baby! Although I'm seriously considering getting the beast repainted in Estoril Blue! The Estoril Blue with Blue?Black interior combo would rock! :wroom:

So long as Im behind the wheel of an E39 M5- it can be any color BMW offers :) But Im biased to Carbon Black for cool color / ti silver for ease of cleaning.
