I have to replace my passengar side windshield wiper arm. However, I'm having problems removing it! According to the BMW TIS, I need a special BMW tool 61 6 060 or 61 6 000. Does anyone know of a way to removing the wiper arm without the tool?

Or alternatively, can anyone point to a store where one can buy such a tool?

Thanks in advance!

Now way to get it off without the tool. I'm sure if you drove to your local dealer then can let you use the tool for 2 minutes to get the arm off.

Thanks Bill...

I was hoping to avoid going to the dealer.

Did your wiper arm break as well?
