Actually in December of 2004 the Porsche 997TT from 9FF bested the McLaren by doing 388km/h at the Nardo. Straight line speeds, yet to be tested, are said to be able to top 400km/h.

I guess the 391 kph from the McLaren F1 in the FTP site video was "unofficial"? I think that trumps 388.

Speedo error comes into play at those speeds that's why they use GPS at the Nardo.

The 9ff was heavily modified, a one-off with no side mirrors and taped down wiper blades.

The Koenigsegg is a "stock" production supercar from the ground up and inherently faster in my opinion. It gets my vote :M5thumbs:

But you can't take away the fact that it did it on a 3.6L flat-6 TT engine. That in itself is truely impressive where as the others used either V12's or FI V8's sporting more than 5.0L in dispacement.

Don't get me wrong guys, I love the CCR and think its probably the best car out there, but the fact remains the 9FF did 388 in December.

The 9ff is a tuner based porsche hence not considered a "production" vehicle, where as the Koenigsegg is straight from the factory. If Porsche had done the 388 straight from the factory then it would hold the production car record.
