I thought the same until reading the March issue of Evo Magazine. They explained that the 391 kmh recorded on video was based on the onboard equipment. The official measurement done by external photocells was "only" 386.7 kmh. Even Mclaren accepts the 386.7 kmh figure as the official top speed.
