Does anyone know what the stock cats flow? I have heard it isnt worth it to put higher flowing cats on becuse the stock flow so good. I belive the stock cats are ceramic and I know ceramic can only flow so much and I believe a metallic cat will outflow a ceramic. if anyone has any info regarding the stock m5's cat cfm #s i would really appreciate it.

Can't help, but perhaps someone at D/A, or Evosport, or even Dinan (Board sponsors) to name a few, would have that info and share it.

I had done some research on this and the standard measure is how many cells per square inch are set within the Catalytics. Most High flow CATs have <=300 CPSI. OEM restrictive CATs have >600 CPSI according to resellers.

According to the Supersprint website, the stock cats are 400 CPSI while the Supersprint metallic race cats are 200 CPSI.
