Hi all just wondering has anyone I come across this issue with there f90 m5 having their steering rack replaced? I've got 3k on the motor and this happens!!
It started with warning light symbol of a steering wheel in red telling me not to go no further etc, but after switching it off and on again error disappeared, feel like I'm back in my e60 m5 lol make me feel right at home in this new m5. I be getting as much info as I can out of dealership now as they have had my car for two weeks due to BMW doing investigation and this was outcome to change rack.
I wonder if this will be common issue.
If I get results I post up

Other than that car is a joy to drive

Steering rack replaced, this is all the info I have on issue from dealership. Coolant level was also checked as BMW said some cars sensor has been known to give false readings.
Apart from that I'm back in my car having fun.
