How does the steering response and steering feel compare between the E60 M5 and the new E92 M3. The magazines mostly say that the steering is the weak link in the new M3. Just wondering what board members here think?

My son and i drove the new M3 coupe and 4 door....steering responce in M mode is awesome it is a little lighter than the M5 and shows it...BMW did a nice job and i think there is pleanty of room for a blower....should be interesting...

I've driven both the E92 M3 and many E60 M5s. I would say the steering on the new M3 can be a tad vague but overall very good once dialed in with M mode and unfoundhorspower said above. Neither car has bad tactile feedback IMO.
