:confused3:confused3springs or coilovers?___just picked up my first e60:biggrin:<cars a BEAST!!! looking for some input/knowledge on coilovers or springs. Any input will help, im new to the M-game and dont wanna regret anything later on>>>please help< thanks

from what I've read:
- springs if you just want a drop with some handling improvement - keeps factory EDC functionality (but obviously makes each setting 1/2 to 1 step stiffer). depending on which springs you go with, may make your stock shocks wear out faster.
- coilovers if you want best handling improvement and more control of ride height - but will throw EDC code unless you get a system that tricks computer to override this.

What is your budget and drive style?

If you are OK with a stiff ride and do not care about EDC with some cash to burn then coil overs are the way to go. If you are using the M5 as a daily driver then springs are the way to go. I went with Eibachs but H&Rs are more aggressive.
