Does (for exampel Eisenmann) sportexhaust a big difference of the answearing when you put the accelerator pedal (compared to original), on the M5 E39?

How much cost the Dr. Schick cams to the M5 E39?

Anyone with a suggestion?
I think Claus Wagner has the sport cams in his Z8, and Shadowman probably has it in his car too. The last time I looked they were about $4000 USD plus a lot of $$$ for the installation. My understanding is that they work much better in the upper rpm ranges without much sacrifice of low end power. It was a cam BMW considered using for the production car. If you add other mods to help the car inhale or exhale, it will enhance the gains using the cams.

Jerry

The biggest gain in HP you will accomplish with headers (or ideally a full exhaust system), cams and ecu tuning. Everything else will not make a noticable difference. The cams shouldn't run you more than $2k but the installation is 14h in the book, I believe.

Check out this threat. It has dyno graphs and mods listed.
