Shell To Be BMW Recommended Oil Supplier - United States

what will this mean for the M cars?

new range of engine oil from Shell for M?
That means the price per Qt. for better tasting Dutch pancake syrup just went up:

Looks like some dealer were already pouring this in BMW engines elsewhere anyway:

The Shell 10W-60 is a hard oil to find here in the U.S. I couldn't find it online doing a quick search earlier and it is more expensive lol.

Awesome! I love Shell Rotella T6 and would welcome a similar oil in our 10W-60 weight.

It makes one wonder, what's paramount? Getting the best oil (if there is one) in the best interests of the customer OR prioritising dividends.

Or am I being too cynical?

Would be nice to get an oil that does not feel like it's raping your wallet. Is that too much to ask hmmm
