Hi everyone!
I have some strange thing with servotronic on my M5 2002.
When the car stands still, everything is normal if i turn the steering wheel left. it is easy as it should be. If I turn the steering wheel right, it is so hard, like it should be during the very high speed or like the Sport-mode engaged.
while on the move - the same. in sport-mode - the same.
DIS shows, that GM module knows nothing about servotronic installed. But it is installed in my car without any doubts:
1. it is a mandatory thing for all M5
2. I can see the wire connected to the steering reduction gear.
3. there is information in dashboard - this thing is presented (readed with DIS).
We coded the GM module and now it knows about servotronic and reports it is on board, but in the errors list appears servotronic error - servotronic wires are broken.
We check the wires and it is ok.
Then we check the servotronic valve in steering reduction gear - it shows zero resistance on tester. is it wrong?
Any ideas, what is happening?
