Sepang is NOT a Color

This is my 100th post

I've been confused about the name Sepang for some time, and maybe some of you have also. I just assumed Sepang was just a color I had never heard of before, like some of the mystery colors in a crayon box. Sepang sounds something like sepia or cyan, which are colors.

The BMW M5/M6 brochure helped create my confusion. Sepang Bronze is listed as an exterior color, but as an interior Sepang (without bronze) is listed along side: Black, Portland Brown, Indianapolis Red and Silverstone.
Looks like a list of colors: Sepang, Black, Brown, Red, Silver.
Except Sepang is not a color.

What is Sepang? (or Interlogos, Silverstone, Indianapolis...)
While it must be obvious to those of you in Europe (and most of the world), I did not know these are all names of F1 tracks.

My Sepang Bronze / Sepang Bronze M6 Coupe will be delivered in a few weeks :1:

Sepang is not one of my favourite colours, but certainly one of my favourite tracks!

But I can understand your confusion..With a company labelling "SkarabeüsGrün" to their cars, its not always easy to know where it originates from.
They are famous race tracks around the world.

Yes, you could be right. I always thought it came from the Brazilian Sao Paulo racetrack..
Sepang is a circuit in Malaysia
So are Interlago, Silverstone and Indianopolis circuits too.

I understand driving a Pug 607 does strange things to your senses:cheers:
LOL!

BTW, I no longer have that car. I blew up the bobbins twice a year. I have now a 530i (rented it) untill my M5 gets delivered. :)

Bobbins?

Ignition coils perhaps?

Tell you what , if thats the only thing you've had, you were in a stroke of luck. Bad car from the worst manufacturer..Stupid flat tire system
:applause: Clyde...I need to see that bad boy when it comes in! If I could do it over again, I think I would go with that combo.

Monaco Blue is also available on non-M cars. But yeah, I missed it.

E63 M6
Silverstone *Full black interior * CF trim
All Options * 40% Madico ceramic tint
Black Chromed kidneys
Polished and Black OEM wheels
Even with the short list of colors, it was hard to make the final color choice. I hope I chose wisely.
I want to see the mods on your car, since those are some of first things I plan to do.
What about that sick color blue on the old M3's that would change color with the amount of sun light hitting it.

Wish they still made it.
