So those of you who read my other post, I was having problems getting the CEL, SAP codes coming up, and rattling noises coming from the engine bay.
Anyway I was making a turn(luckily I was a few blocks from home) when. The steering wheel locked up like the power steering system just failed. I was able to turn the steering wheel and the engine was able to be turned on and off with the same symptoms. I used my muscle to turn the steering wheel home. As far as I can tell there were no messages that popped up for steering.
I’ve googled and read that maybe sharp turns can lock up the power steering? Is there a quick fix for this? Or did my power steering pump go out? I think I read somewhere of something similar happening to a member here but I can’t find the post.
