Love the 1/18ths, and I've wanted one for awhile but they come with a heafty price tag.

How much for the FrontiArt 1/18? My collecting has slowed considerably the last few years but I would make an exception here...

I have an AutoArt CCX (black of course) and it's a beauty!

I think a 1:18 FrontiArt Agera at e-bay are at least twice th price of a AUTOart CCX.. with some luck you can get one for under $300? Normal (new) price at least $400-430?
I had emailed them before, I believe they were in the $800 range for the more common ones, higher price for the rarer ones. I'll try and find the email

If you check completed listings for the frontiart 1/18 you will find 29 results. Agera R: MWhite (<$399), Silver($430), Red ($265!), Carbon(<$395) & Orange($430), MBlue(€323), Black($419). Agera S: MWhite($400) & Green(<€259).

I have several AutoArt models and the quality is pretty spectacular for the price. The doors on the CCX come out and up in two motions rather than one but honestly that would be quite a bit of modeling! So not really any complaint there.

Seems like the prices of 1/18 have gone up considerably since I first started collecting. Anyway the market's pretty savvy these days. The old Bburago and Maisto models simply wouldn't cut it today, in my opinion. I have several and they are fine, but everything changed for me when I bought my first AutoArt! But you gotta pay to play...

I own a FrontiArt Agera R and two AUTOart CCXs in 1:18 scale. The FrontiArt is very nicely detailed, but the AUTOart models are much nicer because of the opening parts, and they're just as detailed. I am thinking of selling my Agera R and buying the AUTOart version with opening parts when it comes out.

See my blog on these models here.

It's a shamethat after all of the pain autoart goes through to make the models so detailed down to the CF panels, and exhaust system, that they can
t come up with the wing that most people expect, I don't even think the vast public knows of an agera with that wing. I can only think of the Czech car that AR was selling.

Before they do the production versions, someone tell them the CCR wiper parks in the down position...

They where not on the center position at CC8S originally (the model seems to be a CC8S). But to my knowledge only one CC8S with original wiper (position) exists today (#006). #001 and #002 is converted to center position, #003 and #004 have not been around for the last 10 years and #005 was converted earlier this year! It's after all a Koenigsegg trademark! :^)

CCR on the other hand is not converted in this way. To my knowledge only #014 (and the former CC8S #001) is converted to center pos. wiper?

Really nice looking models! I have to get a CC8S when it's out (but I still think the price is ridiculous)!

The AutoArt and FrontiArt pieces are so beautiful. I'm jealous of you guys who own them!

I do have this, though - anyone else got one? :) (Funnily enough, despite this being the Need for Speed movie car and blatantly an Agera, the underside maker's stamp reads "Koenigsegg CCX" - somebody at Mattel wasn't paying attention...)
