My '08 M5 s w/ 100k miles seems to have spun a rod bearing. Too bad I didn't get tuned into this issue on these cars earlier. Would have been happy to do a preventative bearing replacement, but that's how it goes.

I'm looking for a replacement motor to buy/instal. Would prefer < 50k miles. Please let me know if anyone has a good candidate.

Thanks,

Stratdaddy

Unfortunate to hear...but yes, contact Troy Jeup. He will be able to get you squared away with a new engine.

We have sold 113 S85 V10 in the past 18-months (the last 44 of them have been exclusively to m5board members). ;).

Depending on your location, we also install 0-mile V10 motors in our shop for $10,000 installed all-in. Warranty is 2-years/30,000-miles.

I will shoot you an e-mail or feel free to call/text my cell @ 616-304-3678

Thanks,

Troy Jeup

Thanks to all. I ran across Troy's responses in other ads too and have checked out his site. Looks like a good prospect.
I'll give him a call this week.
