Just picked up the M5 a couple months ago. The dealership I bought it from replaced the rear tires before I bought it. After I got it home I noticed that the dealership put run flat's (Goofyear Eagle F1 EMT) on the back, but the front were F1's that weren't run flats. Looking at the pricing for a good set of run flat's it looks as though the previous owner didn't want to drop the cash so went with non run flats.

What's the thoughts on run flat's vs non run flat's? I don't have run flat's on the 911 or SL and have never had a need to change a tire other than noticing a nail or puncture while the car was in the garage. Maybe lucky so far. I'm starting to look for a tire/wheel package (not a huge fan of F1's and want something different and lighter than the stock wheels) and not sure what the general thought is on tires. Thoughts? Thanks.
