I almost purchased an ASR exhaust until I did a search on this board and discovered how many issues they have unresolved. Thanks for the M5Board members!

Now I have decided to purchase a RPI exhaust but I would like to hear in person the difference between axle back and a complete RPI exhaust. Are there any M5Board Members that have RPI exhaust installed in Maryland or the DC Metro area? If so, I am willing to buy lunch, beer, or tank of gas to hear the quality of your exhaust.

I also found this clip of a M5 on YouTube of a M5 owner from Maryland. Does anyone know him, is he on this Board?

Thanks for all of your help!

Go for it! I love my Rpi GTS and so does everyone that gets
a chance to hear me driving by. I actually had a compliment the
other day about how "crisp" it sounded. I also suggest getting
the full system. The ease of v-bands, the power, and especially
sound is worth it. I have read somewhere on here that the axle back
produces more drone if that's a worry to you. I had a 700 mile
trip the other day and the drone was barely any more than the OEM
exhaust.
