Hey everyone,

I was just quoted $2100 to replace all the crankshaft bearings, rod bearings, main and collar bolts, and refresh the oil pump and solenoids. I know people have been quoted around $1000, but did this include main bearing replacement as well?

sounds like a good price. Are main bearings actually an issue? I've only heard issues with rod bearings. I understand, it sounds like a reasonable "while you're in there" job and just refresh the entire bottom end.
