Found the best DIY right here on how to remove the door lock actuator and I am in the middle of this task now. Both my actuators went bad when my GM-III module went screwy due to low voltage (I hope). GM-III starting activating the locks by itself repeatedly while driving until the actuators in the front now will grind, but not lock or unlock the doors anymore. Doing the passenger side first as I heard it is the easier of the two. Next task will be removing that cable that ties the door lock at the key to the actuator.

Any advice on disconnecting that cable from the actuator would be appreciated. It is said to be the hardest part of the job and it is unclear how the little parts keep the cable connected to to actuator. I can see it, but not sure how it a held in place.

Thanks!
